Understanding the Columns

🆕 1Y Return — Live

Fetched live from MFAPI India using each fund's AMFI scheme code. Calculated as NAV today vs NAV exactly 1 year ago. Refreshes on every page load.

📈 3Y & 5Y CAGR

Compounded Annual Growth Rate. A 3Y CAGR of 20% means ₹1 lakh grew at 20% per year for 3 years. New funds with less than 3 or 5 years of history show —.

🔍 Sharpe Ratio

Return earned per unit of risk. Above 0.15 is strong for small cap. 0.05–0.15 is acceptable. Below 0.05 means the fund is not compensating you adequately for the volatility.

💰 Expense Ratio

Annual fee on your invested amount. Direct plans range from 0.12% (index) to 0.96% (active). Lower is better, but consistent returns matter more than cost alone.

💸 AUM ₹ Crore

Total assets managed. Very large AUM (₹50,000+ Cr) can be a constraint for small cap funds — hard to buy and sell illiquid stocks without moving prices significantly.
